Nov 11, 2024

‌The steps to remove the blower motor are as follows‌:

‌Prepare tools and materials‌: Make sure you have the necessary tools, such as screwdrivers, pullers, etc. Although pullers are useful, improper use may cause the shaft to bulge, so it is recommended as a backup tool. ‌

‌Remove the air intake mask‌: First, remove the air inlet mask above the air pressure chamber, which is the first step to open the blower. ‌

‌Remove the vacuum hose‌: Next, remove the vacuum hose from the water tank valve, which will help reduce interference during operation.

‌Remove the motor cover‌: Find the blower motor cover and remove the two screws marked with arrows on it. Then, lift the rubber seal from the inner firewall and remove the two fixing screws.

‌Remove the motor‌: Push the firewall forward and upward, remove the blower motor cover, wire connector, motor wire connector, and bolts that secure the blower motor, and finally remove the motor from the housing.

‌Precautions‌:

‌Maintain the order of parts‌: During the disassembly process, please be careful to maintain the order and position of each part so that it can be accurately restored during subsequent installation. ‌
‌Lubrication and maintenance‌: If the blower makes a chirping sound, you can try to disassemble the blower, clean the carbon powder worn off by the carbon brush, and apply grease on the shaft. Using dust covers and grease can effectively reduce noise. ‌
‌Avoid damage to the sealing strip‌: Be careful during the disassembly process to avoid damaging the rubber sealing strip, which helps to maintain the seal of the blower.
With the above steps and precautions, the disassembly of the blower motor can be successfully completed.
