Maintenance cycle of frequency converter
Nov 14, 2024
The maintenance cycle of frequency converter mainly includes three stages: daily maintenance, regular maintenance and comprehensive overhaul. The specific cycles and contents are as follows:
Daily maintenance:
Cycle: It is recommended to perform once a year.
Content: It includes cleaning the radiator, checking the tightness of each component, lubricating bearings and transmission devices, etc. Through daily maintenance, potential problems can be discovered and dealt with in time to ensure the stable operation of the frequency converter.
Regular maintenance:
Cycle: Generally 3 to 6 months.
Content: Regularly check whether the circuit board, electrolytic capacitor, potentiometer and other components inside the frequency converter are loose or burned, and clean the surface and heat exhaust fan to avoid dust blockage. In addition, it is necessary to ensure good heat dissipation of the frequency converter and regularly check the status of the sensor.
Comprehensive overhaul (three-level maintenance):
Cycle: Usually around 3 to 5 years.
Content: Including cleaning and inspection of circuits, cables, radiators, fans, filters, connectors and other components, as well as replacement or testing of key components such as capacitors, relays, IGBT modules, etc. In addition, parameters will be calibrated and adjusted to ensure equipment performance and working accuracy.
Specific steps and methods of maintenance:
Daily inspection: Once every two weeks, check and record the balance of the three-phase voltage and current output by the running inverter, record the ambient temperature and radiator temperature, check whether the inverter has abnormal vibration and sound, and whether the fan is running normally.
Dust cleaning maintenance: Once every quarter, remove the dust and dirt inside the inverter and the air path, check whether there are any hot and discolored parts in the inverter, whether the cement resistor has cracks, and whether the electrolytic capacitor has expansion and leakage.
Overhaul project: Determined according to the service life and the results of daily inspection, mainly including the replacement of key components such as cooling fans, PCB circuit boards, capacitors, fuses, relays/contactors, etc.
